Crowder College to hold first Engineering Day competition

(From Crowder College)

Crowder College will host its first ever Engineering Day competition for area high school students Wednesday, February 20 starting at 9am.

To date there are 168 students registered to participate in 13 possible contests. A student may participate as an individual or as part of a team depending on the contest.

Melissa Oates, Director of MARET Center, was inspired to hold this competition from her previous experiences. “Engineering Day will be a day for high school students to have fun, compete in various engineering challenges and learn more about what Crowder has to offer in STEM fields,” stated Oates in the information provided to school districts.
