Winter weather advisory issued- Snow likely Tuesday afternoon, evening in Joplin area

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY...

.Snow will develop over northern Arkansas and southern Missouri
Tuesday afternoon, and expand northward through the rest of the
region late afternoon and through the early evening hours.

Temperatures will then warm above freezing from mid evening
through the overnight hours, causing snow to change over to rain
and drizzle. Some freezing drizzle can not be ruled out in areas
that remain slightly below freezing.

Accumulations will range from a dusting to two inches.

6 AM CST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow accumulations will range from a dusting up to two
  inches.

* WHERE...All of southeast Kansas and the Missouri Ozarks.

* WHEN...From noon Tuesday to 6 AM CST Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
