URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Springfield MO 1219 PM CST Tue Feb 19 2019 ...Wintry Weather to Impact the Afternoon/Evening Commute... .Snow will develop over northern Arkansas and southern Missouri this afternoon, and then rapidly expand northward through the rest of the region late this afternoon and through the early evening hours. The snow will then change to a wintry mix this evening as warm air aloft overspreads the region. Drizzle and freezing drizzle is then expected later this evening into the overnight hours. Total snow accumulations will range from around an inch to two and a half inches. Ice accumulations will range from a thin glaze to around one tenth of an inch. Locally heavier amounts of snow and ice will be possible.
