Railroad crossings to close next week in Jasper, Newton, McDonald counties

TRAFFIC ALERT

Four Rail Crossings to CLOSE for Maintenance in Jasper, Newton & McDonald Counties Week of Oct. 14
What: Kansas City Southern Railroad will CLOSE four rail crossings for needed repair in Jasper, Newton & McDonald counties the week of October 14.

Where/When: Railroad crews will do the work between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on these dates and locations:

-Tuesday, Oct. 15 and Wednesday, Oct. 16 at Jasper County Route YY and Missouri Route 171 near Carl Junction

Drivers can use Jasper County Route Z to detour around the closing

-Tuesday, Oct. 15 and Wednesday, Oct. 16 at Business Route 60 (College Street) north of Smith Avenue in Neosho

Drivers can use Missouri Route 86 to detour around the closing










-Wednesday, Oct. 16 and Thursday, Oct. 17 at Missouri Route 86 (McKinney Street) east of St. John Street in Neosho

Drivers can use Business Route 60 (College Street) to detour around the closing

-Thursday, Oct. 17 and Friday, Oct. 18 on McDonald County Route C (Splitlog Avenue) east of B Avenue in Goodman

No signed detour, drivers should find alternate route

Traffic Impacts: The railroad crossings will be CLOSED during the work.

Weather and/or scheduling delays could alter the work schedule.
