Halloween programming on KGCS-TV will feature a variety of classic horror films throughout the day thanks to a “Macabre Theatre” marathon on the network, YouToo America – which airs on the university’s television station. The movies will also give viewers the opportunity to interact with “Macabre Theatre” host, Ivonna.
Programming is as follows:
Wednesday, October 30 (11:00 p.m.) “House on Haunted Hill on Location” – This film from 1959 stars Vincent Price, with a story about a millionaire who offers $10,000 to five people who agree to be locked in a large, spooky rented house overnight.
Thursday, October 31 (1:00 p.m.) “Little Shop of Horrors” – This 1960 film stars Jack Nicholson, in a story about a man who nurtures a plant and discovers that it is carnivorous and needs to be fed.

Thursday, October 31 – (10:00 p.m.) “The Terror of Hallow’s Eve” – This 2019 film features the story of a 15-year-old boy who uses supernatural forces to scare off his enemies. The movie also includes celebrity interviews.
KGCS programming can be seen on channel 21. It is also available on regional cable television systems such as Sparklight, Mediacom and Suddenlink Communications. The station operates as a service of the Department of Communication at Missouri Southern State University.
