On 10-5 the Seneca Police Department received a call of a C&I driver traveling south on 43. The caller was complaining that the suspect vehicle was driving into on coming traffic, Officer Thiel got the vehicle stopped on the North end of town.

After a brief investigation the driver was arrested for DWI, No Insurance, No Valid Drivers License and Open Container. Officer Thiel continued his investigation and it was determined the Driver had lied about his identity.

The correct information was obtained at the Newton County Jail. The Jail Staff contacted the Immigration service and it was determined the suspect had been in the county illegally since 2012. There is a current immigration hold on the suspect along with the list of charges from the City of Seneca. Thanks again for the publics help.
