A Carthage teen was injured in a one-vehicle accident 9:25 a.m. today on Fir Road, two miles east of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 17-year-old Carthage girl driving a 2007 Honda CRV lost control of the vehicle and ran off the left side of the road.
The vehicle overturned several times ejecting the girl.
The girl was treated for serious injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
