TRAFFIC ALERT: EB I-44 Welcome Center in Newton Co. CLOSED for Ramp Repair Beginning Week of Aug. 8
Where: Welcome Center on eastbound I-44 near Mile Marker 1.6 in Newton County west of Joplin
When: Beginning at 7 a.m., Monday, August 8 for up to five days
What: Welcome Center CLOSED to allow contractor crews to repair ramps
Traffic Impact
Welcome Center on eastbound I-44 at Mile Marker 1.6 CLOSED, including all Welcome Center facilities and parking
Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching work zone
Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Weather and/or construction delays could alter the work schedule.
