Cherokee County deputies capture wanted fugitive at Weir home, three arrested for aiding

Just before 6:00 am on Sunday, October 8, 2023, Cherokee County Sheriff's Deputies searched a Weir home for a wanted fugitive. The search resulted in the arrest of 26-year-old Destiny Grassi who had outstanding warrants for her arrest from Cherokee and Crawford Counties for various meth and burglary related charges.

Deputies located Grassi hiding under clothes in a back bedroom, before apprehending her.

Also arrested at the scene and transported to the Cherokee County Jail on allegations of Interfering with Law Enforcement were 25 year-old Ryan Lindbloom, 18 year-old Quincey Gepford and 24 year-old Austin Barton.
