We regret to inform you of an incident that occurred outside Lamar High School stadium following tonight's football game.
When our football team was headed to the locker room, one of our students was attacked by an unknown individual. The student was transported to a medical facility.
School staff, along with law enforcement and emergency responders quickly intervened and provided immediate medical attention to the injured student. We are fully committed to cooperating with them and providing any necessary support.
Although the incident occurred outside of school property, the safety and well-being of our students and staff are our top priority. Classes will continue as scheduled on Monday. We encourage parents to discuss any concerns or anxieties their child may have with our counseling team, who are available to provide additional support.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the affected student and their family at this difficult time. As more information becomes available, we will keep the community informed through official channels. Please be safe Tigers.
