Jasper County Commission approves paying $42,500 for salary compensation study

The General Session for the Jasper County Commission was called to order at 9:00 a.m. on October 3, 2023, in room 101 of the Jasper County Courthouse by Presiding Commissioner John Bartosh. 

The meeting was opened with a prayer by Jasper County Sheriff Randee Kaiser followed by the pledge of allegiance. Presiding Commissioner John Bartosh, Commissioner Darieus K. Adams, and Commissioner Tom Flanigan were present. 

Commissioner Adams made a motion to approve the minutes from the September 26, 2023, General Session. Commissioner Flanigan seconded the motion. By unanimous vote, the minutes were approved.

Commissioner Adams made a motion to surplus the property on which the Fair Acres YMCA sits. This property is currently on a 99- year lease to the YMCA for $1. Commissioner Flanigan seconded the motion. By unanimous vote, the motion passes. 

Commissioner Adams made a motion to renew the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program with St. Louis County. Commissioner Flanigan seconded the motion. By unanimous vote, the motion passes. 

Commissioner Adams made a motion to award the bid for the Salary Compensation Study to Evergreen Solutions in the amount of $42,500. Evergreen Solutions was the low bidder. Commissioner Flanigan seconded the motion. By unanimous vote, the motion passes.
