Joplin residents injured in collision on 43

Two Joplin residents were injured in a two-vehicle collision 5:15 p.m. Friday on MO 43 a quarter of a mile south of Airport Drive.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2016 Kia Forte driven by Christian D. Tullis, 35, Joplin, was stopped in traffic and was struck in the rear by a 2013 Toyota Avalon driven by Richard E. Salzer, 87, Joplin.

A passenger in the Tullis vehicle, Natasha R. Tullis, 37, Joplin, and a passenger in the Salzer vehicle, Linda M. Salzer, 85, Joplin, were treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Joplin.
