12/11/2023 Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of E. 17th for theft from a vehicle. Investigation continues.
12/11/2023 Officer responded to a theft not in progress call at WalMart. One person was issued a summons for Stealing under $750 (shoplifting).
12/11/2023 Officer stopped and spoke with a subject in the 100 block of E. 12th. Subject had 4 misdemeanor warrants out of Jasper County. He was arrested and transported to the Barton County Jail.
12/14/2023 Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of College in reference to an intoxicated subject on the roof at that address. One person was placed under arrest for domestic assault and transported to the Barton County Jail for charges of Domestic Assault 4th degree; he was placed on a 24 hour hold for investigation pending charges by the Barton County Prosecuting Attorney.
12/14/2023 A search warrant was executed at an address in the 100 block of E. 13th St. Drugs and paraphernalia were located during the search.
12/17/2023 Officer went to 1300 block of Broadway for a property damage report. One person was arrested for Property Damaged and transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and released with a summons for Property Damage.
12/17/2023 Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Broadway for a report of a vehicle being egged. Further investigation showed multiple vehicles were struck by eggs from 17th & Broadway to 18th & Grand.
