Dade County Route D/Horse Creek Bridge CLOSED Beginning Week of Jan. 2 for Replacement Project
The Dade County Route D bridge over Horse Creek northeast of Golden City will be CLOSED for up to four months beginning the week of January 2, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
The current bridge was built in 1955 and is in deteriorating condition. Approximately 370 vehicles cross the bridge daily.
Traffic impacts
All lanes of Route D CLOSED at the bridge for the duration of the project
Drivers will have access to entrances and driveways at either end of the bridge but will not be able to travel through the work zone
No signed detours
Drivers are urged to find alternate routes around the work zone
Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
This contract also includes replacement of the Route K/Jordan Creek bridge west of Everton which also will begin Spring 2024 and rehabilitation of Missouri Route 215/Stockton Lake bridge. That project is expected to be complete by the end of 2023.
