According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2016 Nissan Rogue driven by Gerald D. Bennett, 59, Joplin, was stopped in traffic and was struck in the rear by a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Jordyn M. Dickey, 19, Oronogo.
A passenger in the Bennett vehicle, Sharon M. Soprych, 57, Webb City, was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
