An open mic night under the stars! Join Connect2Culture Thursday, October 24th, 5:00–7:30pm on the Cornell Complex’s Crossland Construction Rooftop Terrace for an autumnal evening featuring fall drinks and snacks, a cash bar, downtown views, and local talent.
Musicians, singers, and poets are encouraged to sign up at the door for a 10-minute slot to showcase their talent. Two vocal mics, two instrument inputs, Bluetooth capabilities, and an aux cable will be available.
Proceeds support Connect2Culture's mission to ignite a passion for the arts, culture, and entertainment in the Joplin area, aka more art for more people! Cover: $5 at the door.
“Poets, musicians, singers—come take the stage and show us the local talent Joplin has to offer!” said Frankoski. “And if you have stage fright, come support local artists, have some sips and snacks, and enjoy downtown Joplin at a bird’s-eye view.”
