(From Crowder College)Crowder College Technical Education Center (CTEC) will host nearly 400, eighth grade students from McDonald County, Diamond, and East Newton, in a Career eXploration event, Tuesday, October 22.
The students will get first hand viewings of potential careers in technical programs offered at Crowder College.
The event provides an opportunity for students to see a variety of careers including: Welding, Advanced Manufacturing, Teacher Education, Computer Technology, Diesel Mechanics, Criminal Justice, Truck Driving, Building Trades/Construction, Health Science, and Automotive Mechanics.
The event will be held in the morning starting at 8:40am at the Dell Reed Technical Education Center on the Neosho campus.
Students will arrive and be greeted by a tour guide to see the areas they indicated an interest. Due to lunches and scheduling they will depart campus around 10am.
