(From Jasper Fire and Rescue)About 11:30pm Saturday night, Jasper Fire along with Lamar Fire was dispatched for automatic aid to the Golden City FD for a house fire on Depot Street in Golden City.
The house was completely involved at the time of dispatch. The fire was contained to the structure and did not spread to surrounding buildings. It was however a total loss.
Jasper Fire units were back in our station just before 3am.
