Joplin Area Arts and Cultural Preview scheduled

The Joplin arts and cultural community will gather for Connect2Culture’s 11th Annual Joplin Area Arts & Cultural Preview on Saturday, August 8, 2026, 10:00am at Connect2Culture’s home theater, the Beshore Performance Hall, inside the Harry M. Cornell Arts & Entertainment Complex (212 W 7th Street, Joplin, MO 64801).

The Joplin Area Arts & Cultural Preview gives local arts and cultural organizations the chance to tell their story and share what they have planned for the year ahead (2026–2027) in just two minutes! This annual C2C Roundtable offers a unique opportunity to learn, share, network, and establish connections. All arts and cultural leaders, supporters, and advocates are welcome to attend.

“This is one of our favorite annual events,” says Emily Frankoski, Connect2Culture’s Executive Director. “Twenty-five different local arts, culture, or entertainment organizations are registered to present about their mission and upcoming programming. The coming year is going to be packed with things to do and experience, and we couldn’t be more excited to help spread the word by organizing and hosting this event!”
