A California man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 3:40 p.m. Monday on eastbound I-44 at the 22.8 mile marker in Jasper County.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a Freightliner Cascadia 125 driven by Minh K. Hua, 48, San Diego, California, traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck several signs, overcorrected, began skidding, rolled over on its side and struck the median cable.
Hua sought his own medical attention for minor injuries.
