The Rise Up 5k and march is a nationwide event; to be held on July 1, 2017.

Join Southwest Missouri Democrats to learn about the event and have a light breakfast with fellow area democrat on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 10am, inside the Laborers Hall, at 2001 Empire, Joplin, MO 64804. Parking available on the street in front of the hall, in the parking lot behind the building, or in the grassy lot across the street from the hall. The Hall is in the area where the Joplin Marathon will be held on Saturday, so please watch out for runners as you travel to the breakfast.
