Joplin woman injured in scooter-deer collision

A Joplin woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 9:50 p.m. Saturday on Highway JJ, one mile northwest of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Yahama Scooter driven by Joyce D. Crandall, 60, Joplin, struck a deer and overturned.

Crandall was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
