We have been advised that FEMA teams have arrived in Neosho. Any person working for FEMA will have an identification badge with their picture on it. They have advised all team members will be wearing these ID's on them when going to properties effected by the flooding.
If someone approaches you regarding your damage and they say they are with FEMA, look for the ID badge.
Scammers and con artists are quick to take advantage of cities that are declared a disaster area by the federal government.
Be vigilant with your information and your money during the rebuilding process.
