A Greenfield teen drowned 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Ruark Public Swim area at Stockton Lake.
According to the Highway Patrol report, Colton J. Tyler, 14, Greenfield, went underwater and did not resurface. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Dade County Coroner Gary Banta at 2 a.m. today.
The fatality was the fourth drowning this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
