Sleeping teen driver in rollover accident on 43

A Fairland, Oklahoma driver was injured in a one-vehicle accident 4:15 a.m. today on Highway 43 at Iris Road, four miles north of Seneca.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a William J. Wader, 17, Fairland, driving a 2000 Dodge Durango, fell asleep, ran off the left side of the road, struck an embankment, overturned and struck two highway signs.

Wader was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
