A Joplin teen was injured in a one-vehicle accident 6:21 p.m. Thursday on Westbound I-44 at the 226.6 mile marker in Franklin County.
According to the Highway Patrol report, Timara D. Dorsey, 18, Joplin, was driving too fast for conditions, traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a cable barrier.
Dorsey was treated for minor injuries at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital.
