A Webb City woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 4:55 p.m. today on Highway 171, two miles west of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Chevrolet HHR driven by Katherine A. George, 42, Webb City, swerved to avoid an unknown vehicle that had pulled into the roadway, hit a guard rail and a bridge.
George was treated for minor injuries at Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage.
