Quapaw traffic stop nets methamphetamine arrest

(From the Quapaw Police Department)

On Sunday, July 16th, 2017 at approximately 0203 hours, Chief Gary Graham made a traffic stop on a car that was northbound on Main for improper lane use.

Chief Graham made contact with the driver who was identified as a Jeremie Emerson. Chief Graham learned during the course of the stop that the tag on the car went to a Ford van and the car itself was a Mercury station wagon.

While speaking to the driver, a glass pipe with residue was observed as being in the floorboard of the front passenger side of the car.

The residue inside the pipe field tested positive for Methamphetamine. The driver faces charges through Quapaw Municipal Court of Possession of CDS, possession of paraphernalia, bogus tag, and improper lane use.

DEFENDANT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW
