Wildcat Glades along with the Missouri Department of Conservation will be welcoming volunteers to help clean up Shoal Creek on Saturday, July 29th.
The event will take place from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Participants must be at least 13 to participate. All minors must be accompanied by adult. There is no charge to the public for this program, however registration is required.
Bring your canoe or kayak or borrow a canoe from MDC and join us for a fun morning floating and picking up trash in Shoal Creek from Grand Falls in Joplin to Schermerhorn Park in Galena, KS, a distance of 7.4 miles. We’ll end with lunch and prizes at the SEK Nature Center. Limited shuttle service will be available.
