According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Honda VTX1300S driven by Charles W. Knight, 53, Granby, traveled off the left side of the road and overturned, ejecting the driver.
Knight was pronounced dead at the scene by at 5:53 a.m. by Newton County Coroner Dale Owen.
The fatality was the 59th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
