NEOSHO, MO – Crowder College’s Social Science Division will hold its annual Constitution Day on Monday, September 17, from 12:30-1:45 p.m. in the Wright Conference Center, located inside the Arnold Farber Building.
This year’s annual Constitution Day event will consist of a General Assembly Forum. Candidates for the Missouri House of Representatives in the 159th and 160thdistricts, along with Missouri State Senate candidates from the 32nd district will share their platform and take questions from those in attendance. The event is open to the public.
Constitution Day is a national holiday on which schools, colleges and universities across the United States commemorate the ratification of the U.S. Constitution.
This year Crowder College will expand upon Constitution Day with a Constitution Week of slated activities. In addition to the General Assembly Candidate Forum, the Crowder Speech and Debate Team will host two Constitutional debates, voter registration will be held, and a Constitution Week Movie Series will showcase films with Constitutional premises.
