The Tri-State Gem and Mineral Society presents “Rock-A-Thon”, its 20th annual gem and mineral expo, during the weekend of September 28 through September 30.
Hours of the show are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 28 and Saturday, Sept. 29. On Sunday, the show’s hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Rock-A-Thon will be held at the Joplin Museum Complex, 504 Schifferdecker Avenue.
With free admission, attendees of the expo will have a chance to win door prizes, as well as talk with dealers during the event. Other activities offered during the show include jewelry construction, identification of local minerals, rock swap, bead jewelry, and much more.
