Neosho police officer works with Head Start

(From the Neosho Police Department)

NPD Officer Joshua Buckner visits the Neosho Head Start facility at 750 National Guard Drive on a monthly basis.

On each visit he works with each of the three classrooms. His work with the classrooms provides contact with approximately forty-eight children ranging in age from 3 to 5 years.

Each visit is occupied with reading books and various other activities in the classroom or outside in the playground area. It has been "an absolute privilege" for Joshua to work with the staff and spend time with the children at the Neosho Head Start.

Joshua has been doing this since September 2018 and plans to continue for as long as possible.
