A Baxter Springs, Kansas woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 9:05 a.m. today on Coyote Drive, two miles south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Chevrolet Impala driven by Sarah C. Hines, 30, Baxter Springs, began to slide on the snow-covered roadway, ran off the right side of the road and down an embankment.
Hines was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
