According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo driven by Samuel L. Lane, 37, Sarcoxie, failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected, ran off the left side of the road and struck a tree.
Lane was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman Neosho.
