JFD responds to blaze at 2102 Joplin

On Monday, February 24, 2020, at 7:49 PM, the Joplin Fire Department responded to a report of a possible structure fire at 2102 S Joplin Ave.

The first crew arrived at 7:52 PM to find a two-story wood framed structure with fire coming from a window. Crews entered the structure and extinguished the fire. They remained on scene until 10:44 PM.








The Joplin Fire Department responded with 6 units and 17 personnel. The Fire Department was assisted by METS Ambulance Service and the Joplin Police Department. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighting personnel.

The cause of the fire was ruled as incendiary.
