This week’s Officer Spotlight is Officer Mike Moore.
Officer Moore is a 13-year veteran of law enforcement and joined JPD in December 2018. Before joining JPD Officer Moore worked at Anderson, MO Police Department where he was a Sergeant who served as a DARE Officer.
Officer Moore is currently serving in Uniform Operations, Traffic Unit, and SWAT.
When asked what he wanted the public to know about his job responded with “I love to serve the community and look forward to many years serving with JPD. I also work everyday to change any negative perspective others have of law enforcement.”
In his off-time Officer Moore spends most of his time at his church where he is an associate pastor and spending time with his wife and children.
