(From the Carthage R-9 School District)Columbian Elementary is partnering with Mother Road Coffee for the second year to share a message from students to the community. This will take place during Red Ribbon Week, the week of October 25-29.
Last year, Columbian students decorated the sleeves for Mother Road Coffee’s coffee cups on Peace Day.
This year, students are decorating the sleeves for Red Ribbon Week. Mother Road Coffee has given Columbian over 400 coffee sleeves so each of student can share a message of Drug Prevention and making good choices.
School counselor Joyce Wilkerson has spearheaded this community partnership.
