Two Japan semester events canceled at Missouri Southern

Two upcoming events planned as part of the Japan Semester at Missouri Southern State University have been canceled.

Rebecca Kite, an internationally recognized marimba soloist, writer and teacher, had two programs planned for next week:

“The World of Marimba Music”: 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, in Webster Hall’s Corley Auditorium.








“Keiko Abe and the Evolution of the Concert Marimba”: 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 22, in Corley Auditorium.

Kite, who lives in Madison, Wis., will be unable to travel to Missouri for the events.
