(From the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office)A local man is facing felony theft charges following a weekend incident in southeastern Cherokee County.
Cherokee County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to the scene on Sunday afternoon, when a Case Compact Tractor was reported stolen from a property where it had been used recently.
A suspect was identified by deputies and a Kansas State Trooper spotted the suspect and the tractor Monday morning.
Hunter Hayes-Bebee, 23 of Galena, was taken into custody and is facing allegations of felony theft and driving without a valid license.
