Joplin man injured in two-vehicle collision

A Joplin man was injured in a two-vehicle accident 7:20 p.m. today on south Business 49, one mile south of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2010 Kawasaki Ninja driven by Matthew J. Jewell, 19, Joplin, struck the rear of a 2012 GMC Yukon driven by Christopher L. Erisman, 50, Joplin.

Jewell was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
