Five people injured as teen drivers collide on 60

Five people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 1:38 p.m. Sunday on U. S. 60 at Business 60, three miles east of Monett.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2018 Chevrolet Trax driven by Tial T. Lian, 18, Wentworth, turned eastbound on U. S. 60 from Business 60 and collided with a 2005 Acura TSX driven by a 17-year-old Monett girl in the westbound lane.

The girl, a passenger in her vehicle, a 15-year-old Monett girl, and three passengers in the Lian vehicle, Tial Tang, 32, a 13-year-old boy and a 4-year-old boy were treated for minor injuries at Cox Monett.
