According to the Highway Patrol report, Mark E. Williams, 52, Joplin, was reported missing by his family and was found at 12:38 p.m. by fishermen.
Barry County Coroner Gary Swearingen pronounced him dead at the scene at 1:57 p.m.
The drowning was the second this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
