Neosho man cited for DWI after three people injured in head-on collision on 175

A Neosho man was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a two-vehicle collision 11:57 p.m. Sunday on MO 175, five miles north of Neosho.

According to the Highway Patrol report, 2015 Hyundai Sonata driven by Rancher Dionis, 21, Neosho, crossed the center of the roadway and struck a 2011 Kia Optima driven by Rachel J. Haslett, 22, Parsons, Kansas head on.








Haslett and a passenger in her vehicle, Phillip T. Turrisi, 58, Galena, Kansas, were treated for moderate and minor injuries, respectively, at Mercy Joplin.

Dionis, who was also cited for careless and imprudent driving, driving while suspended and for not wearing a seat belt, was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
