Joplin, Carl Junction residents injured in collision on Coyote Drive

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 6:18 p.m. Sunday on Coyote Drive, a half-mile south of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2019 Ram 2500 driven by John P. Salter, 64, Venice, Florida, failed to yield to a 2011 Acura MDX driven by Derek P. Ulibarri, 37, Carl Junction.

Ulibarri and a passenger in his vehicle, Teresa A. Pace-Ulibarri, 49, Joplin, were treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.

Salter was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Joplin.
