Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 7:24 a.m. Tuesday on MO 413 one mile east of Republic.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2021 Ford Explorer driven by Lisa D. Hartley, 59, Owasso, Oklahoma, was stopped in the roadway when it was struck in the rear by a 2019 GMC Terrain driven by Kylie S. Mackey, 25, Mount Vernon.
Hartley and a passenger in her vehicle, Lisa M. Rickman, 59, Sarcoxie, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Springfield.
