(From Joplin Public Library)Due to a change at the State level, the Library is required to have a new registration form filled out and signed by all Library cardholders. In the meantime, all library accounts will be temporarily inaccessible beginning May 25th. Once a new registration form is filled out and signed, the account will be restored to full function.
The form is available to be signed in person at the Library, or users may access it online and mail the completed form to the Library at 1901 E 20th St, Joplin, MO 64804.
During the updated sign up, it is NOT necessary for patrons to present ID or proof of address. Patrons will RETAIN their same barcode number and current holds, unless a new card is needed, which will be provided free of charge during this process. We apologize for this inconvenience.
