A Miami, Oklahoma woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident 2 p.m. Monday on MO 66 and Pennsylvania in Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, 2004 Ford Taurus driven by a 16-year-old Goodman boy was making a left turn from 66 to Pennsylvania Avenue and failed to yield to a 2006 Nissan Altima driven by Catherine A. Nixon-Wright, 31, Miami.
The Nixon-Wright vehicle ran off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole.
Nixon-Wright was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Joplin.
