5/15/2023 Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of Maple St for past tense theft. Later in the day, suspect was arrested for Stealing. On the morning of 05-16-23 a Probable Cause Statement was completed, along with the report, was submitted to the Barton County Prosecutors office for consideration of charges.

5/15/2023 Officer took a theft report at the Walmart Super Center. Investigation continues.

5/17/2023 Officer took a report of the theft of a vehicle in the 300 block of Truman Street. Vehicle was entered into the system as stolen; investigation continues.

5/17/2023 Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of W. 5th St. in regards to a past tense property damage. Investigation continues.








5/19/2023 Officer was dispatched to Dollar General regarding a theft in progress. Suspect was gone when officer arrived. Just a few hours later, the suspect returned to the store and stole additional items. He was located at his residence and taken into custody, booked into the Barton County Jail and released with a summons for Stealing under $750.
 
5/19/2023 Officer took a report of Property Damage in the 500 block of E. 10th St. Investigation continues.

5/19/2023 Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of 11 St. for theft of a license plate. Investigation continues.
