Joplin residents injured in collision

Two Joplin residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident 2:10 p.m. today on Gateway Road at Jaguar Road six and a half miles southeast of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Hyundai Elantra driven by Margaret A. Kastendieck, 78, Joplin, failed to yield to a 2000 Honda Accord driven by Ryanna R. Blair, 19, Joplin, and struck it in the rear.

Blair and a passenger in the Kastendieck vehicle, Vera K. Wyant, 83, Joplin, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Joplin.
